My name is Lisa Groenendyk (also known as Mrs. G.) and I am excited to return to Oskaloosa Christian to provide reading and math support to students in K-4th grades. (I previously taught 4th grade at OC from 1984-1987.)
My husband, Bruce, and I live on the family farm one mile north of Leighton. We have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. I am a graduate of Dordt College and have 45 years of teaching experience. I continue to find much joy in nurturing students as lifelong learners and servants in God’s kingdom. I enjoy many outdoor activities, reading, and music.
My Deep Hope, based on Colossians 2:6-7, is that we will:
Glorify and love God,
Grow together in wisdom, and
Go serve with joy!
