Tuition for the 2024-25 school year is $9,200 for students in grades K – 8. Tuition assistance is available for Transitional Kindergarten. There is an enrollment fee of $50.00. Financial Assistance is available through Educational Savings Accounts [ESA], For Generations to Come, and Legacy of Grace STO.

Oskaloosa Christian School actively participates in the School Tuition Organization (STO), a state-sponsored program in Iowa. Through this initiative, donors contribute to the STO in exchange for tax credits, and these funds are then distributed as scholarships to qualifying families. In addition to the STO, the Board of Trustees manages a dedicated tuition assistance fund to support families in need.

Each year, families seeking tuition assistance are required to apply for FACTS Grant & AID. This third party conducts a thorough financial review and provides a report to the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees. Based on this evaluation and the availability of funds, the Finance Committee may award tuition grants towards the total cost of tuition. Families with financial needs exceeding their initial application assessment are encouraged to contact the school to discuss additional assistance options with a member of the Finance Committee.

Families are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office to find out about a specific grade level. When classes fill up, we maintain a wait pool, giving first priority to students with siblings already in OCS.

OCS does not use a specific curriculum but rather selects from various publishers. Each text is carefully selected on the basis of content and appropriateness for each course and/or grade level. Whether or not the text itself is biblically-based, biblical truths and principals are integrated into every subject area by our teachers.
