Building Tomorrow's Confident Learners

The elementary years are magical. Children arrive eager to learn everything about everything. They ask endless questions, make surprising connections, and find wonder in the smallest details.

These are the years when lifelong learning habits take root.

In our elementary classrooms, that natural curiosity becomes the foundation for academic growth. Students explore math as they see God's order in patterns and numbers. Science lessons reveal His creativity through hands-on investigations. History unfolds as stories of God's faithfulness across time.

With small classes and caring teachers who know each child's learning style, personality, and dreams, students build confidence alongside competence. They learn that challenges help them grow, that mistakes are part of learning, and that their unique gifts matter in God's story.

Foundations for a Lifetime of Learning

Using UFLI (Science of Reading) methods alongside engaging literature, students develop a strong foundation in phonics and enhance their reading comprehension skills. From first books to chapter novels, children discover that reading unlocks adventure, wisdom, and understanding.

Through Eureka Math, students develop number sense and mathematical reasoning in a step-by-step approach. Rather than memorizing procedures, they understand why math works and how it connects to real life.

Students explore God's creation through hands-on investigations and experiments using National Geographic resources. From studying weather patterns to observing plant growth, science class allows children to discover the intricate design and beauty surrounding them.

History comes alive as kids learn about different cultures, explore geography, and discover how God has worked through people and events across time. Community studies help children understand their place in both their local area and God's bigger story.

Daily devotions, Bible memory, and prayer are part of every day. Students learn that all truth belongs to God and that their learning is an act of worship and preparation for service.

Growing Together

Elementary schoolers participate in weekly Discipleship Groups where older and younger children build friendships across grade levels. They learn to share, encourage others, resolve conflicts, and practice the fruit of the Spirit with loving guidance from teachers.

Weekly specials in music, art, library, and physical education help students discover and develop their gifts. Fall Music Programs and Spring Musicals give every child a chance to shine while building confidence. Field Day creates lasting memories and friendships.

Age-appropriate service projects help students understand they can make a real difference in their community. Whether collecting items for local food banks or creating cards for nursing home residents, children learn that faith has hands and feet.
