Kristin Van Zee has been teaching since 2004. After graduating from William Penn, she taught 3 years in special education at West Elementary in Knoxville. In 2007, she began teaching in the Resource Room at Oskaloosa Christian. Kristin enjoys getting to know her students while working with them in small groups from all different grade levels. It’s such a blessing to be able to see the student’s confidence grow as they work hard at learning new skills.

Kristin and her husband, Joshua were married in 2000. They have 2 sons, Trenton and Austin. As a family we enjoy camping, playing games, exploring new state and national parks, and supporting our boys in their various activities. Living in a house of boys has taught me to always be ready for an adventure! I also enjoy reading, flower gardening, walking, and trying new Pinterest recipes.

My deep hope for my classroom is that we embrace the gifts God gave us and use them to shine for his glory.
