We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Talented and Gifted (TAG) Teacher to provide enriching and challenging academic experiences to exceptional students in a Christian educational environment. This part-time position is ideal for an individual who is committed to fostering a love of learning, nurturing creativity, and encouraging the development of students' unique talents and intellectual gifts as a pull out program for 3rd - 8th graders.

Oskaloosa Christian School is seeking a 2nd grade teacher who is passionate about Christ-centered education and committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially. This teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction in all core subject areas within a self-contained classroom, educating students with grace and truth from a biblical perspective. The position includes preparing thoughtful lesson plans, using effective instructional and classroom management strategies to meet diverse learning needs, monitoring student progress, and supporting schoolwide student achievement goals. The teacher will communicate clearly and promptly with families and colleagues, collaborate with the Principal on professional goals, participate in staff meetings and professional development, and contribute to the life of the school through assigned duties and events. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong content knowledge, organizational skills, proficiency with school software systems, and consistent spiritual leadership that reflects a commitment to Christ-centered teaching and service.

Oskaloosa Christian School is seeking a responsible and dependable individual to join our team as a part-time bus driver. This role involves safely transporting students to and from school and school-related events.

Position Details:

  • Part time, flexible hours

SONshine Preschool

SONshine Preschool has the following job openings for the 2025-2026 school year:

The Assistant Director will report to the Center Director and play a key role in supporting, coordinating, and providing the necessary resources, supervision, and leadership to ensure that young children receive nurturing care and education in a group setting at the Center. Primary responsibilities include maintaining and updating records, providing ongoing staff supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and fostering a healthy, safe, and enjoyable environment for staff, parents, children, and visitors. Must be 18 years of age.

As an entry-level position, Associate Childcare Providers will collaborate with management staff and implement the childcare program. This team will support the center's mission and values by delivering high-quality childcare services to children and parents.
